 Surfboards by Steve Seebold:

Surfboards by Steve Seebold.

Steve Seebold ,

Is a seasoned craftsman who is probably the best kept secret in the surfboard world. Steve started surfing in 1959, shaping in 1965 and has surfed and shaped for some of the best known names in the industry such as Jacobs, Byrne, Gordon & Smith, South Coast and Basic Element, to name a few. Steve Literally wrote the book on Shaping ("Surfboard" dec. 1993).

Seebold can shape anything, and re-create virtually any model made since the 60's long or short, retro or modern. Seebold has an extensive shapers library of original templates and specs. Born and raised in San Diego, California, Steve is an incredible surfer who started shaping in the 60's and has traveled the world and is known just as well on the West Coast as he is in the Carribean, East Coast of US, Mexico, South Pacific, Australia and Japan. His shapes are spot on and he is highly regarded in the surfboard industry as one of the most visionary shapers around.
